Being Healthy Doesn’t Have to Be Hard

Uncategorized Oct 09, 2026

We worked with a client recently who casually mentioned to us near the end of her second week that she had been feeling extra hungry, tired and cranky.

This was beyond the 2-4 day window in which the body reaches a metabolic switch point after a few days of eating in balance when both glycogen (stored sugar / glucose) and triglycerides (stored fatty acids) somewhat deplete, so you move into burning body fat for fuel.

[Yes, there is an exact SCIENCE to safely bringing the body into fat loss. Not many functional nutritionists and macro coaches have this knowledge, but our entire team does: we are certified in metabolic science, specializing in permanent weight management, healthy body composition, exercise science and behavior change science. That's why our members get the best results long-term.]

Beyond that switch point in the first few days, most people have steady energy, a stable mood, comfortable fullness for hours after meals, and better sleep going forward.

When we asked this client why she didn't communicate with us sooner, she mentioned that she thought that feeling awful was to be expected.

After doing diet after diet, all the cleanses, and detoxes for decades and feeling miserable on all of them, she assumed our program would be no different.

This is exactly why we have regular check in points multiple times a week along with a detailed bio-feedback tracker to monitor each client's progress and make adjustments as needed.

As soon as we explained that feeling crummy was NOT required and actually would backfire over time, we changed her nutrition plan and she immediately started feeling better while still building muscle and losing body fat week after week!

This story allowed us to reflect deeper into how conditioned we are as a society into thinking that things need to be hard and painful to be effective.

We think that if there is zero struggle, it must not be working.

The hustle mentality tells us that if we're not lying on the floor in a pool of sweat, unable to walk, our workout "didn't count."

That's why many of us avoid getting started: we're afraid it's going to be hard.

Eating well. Exercising consistently. Improving body composition.

We convince ourselves it will take too much time, too much effort, or require giving up everything we love.

But here’s the thing:

Hard can be created in our minds.

Hard can be the result of overcomplicating.

But sometimes, it just isn’t hard.

Sometimes it’s surprisingly simple.

That moment when you finally find the right balance of nourishing your body with the right foods, in the right amounts, at the right times — and you start to feel good.

When you discover the type of training that works for your body in the minimum effective dose required — and you actually look forward to moving.

When you notice the changes — more energy, better focus, and yes, results you can see and feel — and wonder why you waited so long to try.

Sometimes, it’s easier than we expect.

You're grocery shopping and cooking food already right now...

But in our program, you'll learn WHAT and HOW MUCH to shop for and cook, and it doesn’t take more time than you're already spending in the kitchen.

(not to mention the money you'll save short term from less Door Dash and long term from less Dr. visits)

Your workouts are already planned in our program, and they don’t feel like a chore — all you have to do is show up.

Showing up for yourself feels good, and feeling good motivates you to keep showing up.

It’s okay for it to feel challenging at times.

But it’s also okay for it to feel easy.

Health shouldn't be something you hustle for... it's something that should integrate into your current lifestyle, one habit at a time, optimizing little by little until you look back one day in awe about how incredible you feel while seemingly not doing anything "extra."

Because it's also hard living in a body that is constantly sick, tired, heavy and stuck.

It just doesn't have to be this way.

And this is exactly what we’ll teach you in Awaken Your Nutrition.

With a simple, sustainable plan that removes the guesswork and stress, you’ll fuel your body, find the right training for your goals, and finally see the results you’ve been chasing.

Our next 12-week program starts soon, and when you join by January 26th, you’ll save $500.
