Your Friend Lost 15 Pounds Doing This.

Uncategorized Oct 08, 2026

We have all been there… Your friend lost 12 pounds.

She (or he) looks amazing. She feels amazing.

So obviously, you ask:

“Okay...what did you do?”

And she tells you everything. What she ate, her calories, macros, workouts, supplements, morning routine.

Maybe even the exact almond milk she puts in her coffee because at this point we are taking NO chances.

So you do it too.

You buy the groceries. Download the app. Follow the workouts.

You are COMMITTED.

Three weeks later?

She's still thriving.

You're hungry, tired, thinking about food constantly...and the scale has barely moved.

So now you aren't questioning the plan.

You're questioning yourself.

Why isn't this working for me?

What am I doing wrong?

Do I need to try harder?

Maybe not.

Maybe you successfully copied her plan.

You just couldn't copy her physiology.

This Is Where Nutrition Gets Personal

We love formulas.

Tell me exactly what to eat. Tell me how much. Tell me which workout. Tell me what worked for you so I can do that too.

I understand the appeal.

Certainty feels really good.

But two people can follow the exact same plan and have completely different experiences.

Because you're not bringing only your food into the equation.

You're bringing your body composition, muscle mass, age, training history, daily movement, sleep, stress, hormones, dieting history, hunger patterns, medications, health considerations and actual life.

Your friend brings hers.

Same plan. Different person.

Of course the response might be different.

Your Starting Point Gives Us Clues

We used to talk a lot about “body types” in fitness.

Put someone into a category. Assign certain characteristics to that category. Then prescribe accordingly.

And while your physical characteristics and tendencies can give us useful clues, human physiology isn't nearly tidy enough for me to stop there.

I'm much more interested in your starting point.

What's your current body composition? How much muscle do you carry? What are your energy needs? How much do you move and train? How are you sleeping? What does hunger look like for you? What's your dieting history? What's happening hormonally? And perhaps most importantly...

What's happening in your actual life?

All of that gives us information.

And from there, we establish our best informed starting point.

Because your initial nutrition plan isn't some magical calculation revealing exactly what your body will need forever.

It's a starting hypothesis.

And then we test it.

The Plan Is the Input

You get your nutrition targets.

Then you go live your life.

You eat, train, work, sleep and travel. Your kid gets sick. Your boss schedules a 4:30 meeting. You go out for your anniversary. You have a stressful week.

Basically... you remain a human being.

And while you're doing all of that, your body starts giving us information.

Maybe your hunger stabilizes. Your energy improves. You're sleeping better. Training feels stronger. Digestion improves. Your body composition begins changing.

Great.

That's information.

Or maybe you're hungry all the time. Your energy tanks. Your workouts feel terrible. Recovery gets worse and your body composition isn't responding as expected.

Also...

information.

Neither response tells us whether you were “good” or “bad.”

It tells us how your body responded to the input.

And if the response isn't what we expected?

We adjust.

This Is What Personalization Actually Looks Like

Personalized nutrition isn't:

“Here's your personalized macro plan. Good luck.”

It's:

INPUT → LIFE →RESPONSE → INTERPRETATION → ADJUSTMENT

And then we do it again.

Over time, something really interesting starts happening.

You begin recognizing the patterns yourself.

You know what happens when your sleep drops. You recognize how your hunger changes around harder training. You understand what happens when work gets stressful. You know what adequately fueled feels like.

You begin recognizing when something needs to change.

And now we're doing something much bigger than helping you change your body composition.

We're teaching you your own language.

Someone Else's Results Aren't Your Instructions

I love seeing people succeed.

Transformation stories can be incredibly inspiring. Your friend's 12-pound weight loss can absolutely show you what's possible.

But her results aren't proof that you should copy her strategy.

They're evidence that something worked for her.

That's useful information.

Now we need to discover what works for you.

So the next time someone says:

“You HAVE to try this.”

Instead of immediately asking:

“Exactly what did you do?”

Try asking:

“What principle worked here, and how could I test that in my own body?”

Because now you're not blindly following.

You're learning.

Want Us to Look at YOUR Data?

Here's where we can turn today's email into an actual experiment.

For the next few weeks, we're offering our Food Log Audit for 50% off.

You'll track three normal days of your life in Cronometer.

And I mean normal.

Please don't suddenly become the world's healthiest eater because you know we're looking.

We actually want to see your life.

Then, one of the coaches who leads Awaken Your Nutrition will personally review your food logs using the same lens and coaching framework we use inside the 12-week experience.

We're looking beyond “Did you hit your macros?”

We'll look at things like your protein intake and distribution, carbohydrate and fat balance, food quality, meal timing, overall energy intake, hunger patterns, movement, training, sleep, recovery, stress and lifestyle.

Then you'll receive a personalized video review walking you through:

→ What we're noticing
→ What you're already doing well
→ Patterns you may not have recognized
→ Your biggest opportunities
→ Adjustments we'd consider based on your data

This isn't a meal plan.

And it definitely isn't someone grading whether you ate “good” or “bad.”

It's an opportunity to experience what personalized nutrition coaching actually feels like.

Your food log gives us the inputs.

Your body gives us the feedback.

One of our coaches helps you connect the dots.

Three Days. A Different Set of Eyes.

The Food Log Audit is normally $150.

Through September 18, it's $75 — 50% off.

If you've been reading these emails thinking:

Okay...but what would your team actually see if they looked at MY nutrition?

This is your chance to find out.

And if three days sounds interesting, but what you're really thinking is...

I want to learn how to do this for myself.

That's where we go deeper.

Awaken Your Nutrition Begins September 21

The Food Log Audit gives you a snapshot.

Awaken Your Nutrition teaches you how to understand the patterns for yourself.

Over 12 weeks, you'll work alongside our team of seven nutrition, lifestyle and holistic architects through the same process:

Establish your starting point → Introduce new inputs → Live Your Life → Observe your response → Interpret the feedback → Adjust

You'll receive personalized nutrition and macronutrient targets, weekly biofeedback and adjustments, nutrition and exercise education, behavior-change and mindset work, weekly group coaching, strength-training and movement support, community, lifetime access to our evolving curriculum, and access to our virtual training studio and personal-training team.

But those are the things you get.

What I'm most interested in is what happens underneath all of them.

You stop outsourcing every decision about your body.

You start learning how to make those decisions yourself.

Because I don't want you finishing twelve weeks asking:

“Okay...now what do I do?”

I want you thinking:

“I know what to look for. I understand what my body is telling me. I know when something needs to change.”

That's the win.

And we have thousands of individuals who have already arrived there. Check out some of our incredible testimonials by scrolling down the page below the call booking link  HERE
